COMMENTARY
The hadith shows the importance of the following:
1. It indicates that whosoever seeks sanctuary in Allah’s name, should be given protection.
2. It shows that whosoever asks in Allah’s name should be given what he asks for. This implies, one should always give out for the sake of Allah. And surely one will be rewarded for his good deeds.
3. It shows that whosoever does us a favor one way or the other, should not be overlooked. But rather, we should try to recompense him. By so doing, he will be very happy and pleased with us. However, this does not mean we are after pleasing him only, but whether he is pleased or not, we did it mainly for the sake of Allah.
4.It also indicates that if it happened that we could not find a way to restitute him, then we should make dua(supplication) for him. This means, no matter how, we should try to be among those people that show gratitude because Allah loves the Shaakirin( those that shows appreciation).
