#1088: On Someone Who Get Aroused While In Salaat

WHAT IS THE RULING ON SOMEONE WHO GET AROUSAL WHILE PRAYING IN SOLAT
ANSWER:
Alhamdulillah.
As for Arousal in Salaat, it does not terminate or render the Salaat void provided there is no ejaculation or exit of anything such as prostatic fluid (Madhy) from it.
Note that the Fuqahaa of Islam have agreed that everything that exits from either the private part or the anus vitiates the Wudhu and once Wudhu is vitiated, Salaat is considered void too.
It is important for the one who prays in Salaah to concentrate on his communication with his Rabb and to focus his mental energy on the Ibaadah and to not allow his mind to wander in different directions.
