#1158: Salāt of Women in their Homes

QUESTION:

DO THE WOMEN FOLK WHO DID NOT OBSERVE SALAAH IN THE MASJID NEED TO WAIT FOR THOSE WHO ATTENDED TO RETURN BEFORE THEY SAY THEIR SALAAH?

“Assalamu alaikum pls Sheikh, can u help us clarify on the matter that when assalatu is called those at home(not praying in the mosque, women)have to wait for any of the mosques to pray before commencing prayers at home.Thank u”

ANSWER:

Wa Alaykum Salam Warahmatullah Wabarakaatuh.

Alhamdulillah!

We do not know of any evidence sound and direct implying that those women who do not observe the Salaah in the Masjid must await those who did to return before they observe theirs.

And Allah knows best.

Barakallahu fikum.
Jazakumullahu Khayran.
