#157: Ruling on the One who talks during the Adhān
QUESTION
IS THE HADĪTH CLAIMING THAT THE ONE WHO DOES ANYTHING DURING THE ADHĀN WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SAY THE SHAHĀDAH ON HIS DAY OF DEATH SAHĪH?

_The Holy Prophet(SAW) said, “Stop doing everything during the ADHAAN(calling of prayer), even reading the Holy Quran, the person who talks during the ADHÃN will not be able to say the KALIMSH-E-SHAHADAT on his/her death day…. Please pass this message to Muslims…. *Imagine your rewards* if Millions of people read this, just because you send it. سُبْحَانَاللَّهِ !!!’_

*ANSWER*
Wa alaykum Salām Warahmatullāh Wabarakātuh.
It is very clear that this is one of the lies that are told against the Rasūl – salallāhu alayhi wasallam – by manufacturers of Hadīth out there. May Allāh’s curses be upon them if they do not desist from this abhorrent act, āmīn.
It is an Islamic Legal Principle that whosoever propagates a lie knowing such to be so shares same reward as its manufacturer, even more. And it is apparent from the writing that its writer is only interested in propagating such manufactured lies in the Ummah from the said writing.
We ask Allah to protect the Ummah from such liars āmīn.
