ON KISSING THE QUR’AN IF IT INADVERTENTLY DROPS

“When the mushaf inadvertently drops from one’s hands,people usually rush to kiss it after picking it up.is there any hadith that signifies that should be done?”

Answer:

There is no Hadith, not even a Kweak one, to the best of our Knowledge, that implies this act. And this act is a bid’a.
