#224: Ruling of Burying of the Nails and Hairs of the Body

QUESTION

When someone clip his nails, he could dispose it in the bin or flush it down the toilet or buries it?. And when a female combs her hair, obviously there will be brittles of hair scattered at that spot and some on the comb. So I was told there’s a hadith which says she should pile them up as a clump and then with her as it is forbidden for her to flush it down the toilet or dispose it.

Wa ‘alaykum salaam warahmatullaah.

There is no such Hadith inshaa Allaah. Rather, it is the choice of some of the Ulamaa that she should do that to prevent People of Sihr from using those items against her for Tiwala (Sihru Al-Hubb) and ‘Ayn.
