#339: Advice to Muslim Sister regarding Difficulties in Marriage
“Assalaamu alaykum warahmatulLaah, Dear Admin, a sister asked me to forward her question thus: When a you get married and realized that there are mistakes in your marriage and this issue of mistakes is eating you up, if you try to correct it and yet to no avail, despite all the advice’s given to your husband he still remain adamant refuses to change for good yet he refused to grant you a divorce, what else should you do to?”

Wa alaykum Salām Warahmatullāh Wabarakātuh.
Alhamdulillāh.
We ask Allāh to solve the problems she is facing in her marriage and to guide her husband into rectifying the problems about which she speak, āmīn.
However, in your question, she has not specified the sort of mistake she is saying she has discovered in her very early marriage. This would have helped us to answer the question further.
Generally we can say that divorce is never the best option in this situation. Rather what is expected of her is to keep intensifying her Du’ā, draw close to Allāh with Salāt, Fast, Sadaqāt and Qiyāmu Al-Layl, asking Allāh to solve her problem and influence her husband to rectify the problems discovered. She has to be patient in this regard and put her trust in Allāh.

“And whosoever relies upon Allāh, then Allāh is sufficient for him.”
