#442: A Reconciliation between the Hadith that Shaytān is being bound in Ramadān and that of Safiyya Radiyallāhu Anhā

Question: How do we juxtapose the Hadith regarding d Shaytaan being bound in ramadan AND d Hadith regarding Safiya (RA)?”

Wa alaykum salaam warahmatullāhi wabarakātuh

Alhamdulillaah!

We explained during our Halqah on the Saturday that immediately preceded Ramadān (please refer to it) that what the Hadīth referred to means is that the Shayaatin will be restricted in their limits and will be weakened to the extent that they will have very little or no influence in the affairs of believers. That is a reconciliation between the wordings of the Ahaadith that refers to that.
