#444: The One who misses a Pillar among the Pillars of Hajj
QUESTION
” Salamun alaikum ya admin,pls what is the ruling on someone who goes on hajj,but due to a high fever,or critical illness he/she encounter’s he was enable to perform a major act of hajj,that invalidates the hajj I.e(arrafah,and the likes),pls is the hajj valid or not,pls elaborate, jazakhallahu khairan”

Wa alaykum salaam warahmatullaah wabarakaatuh
Alhamdulillaah
The Pillars of Hajj are four by consensus:
1. Ihraam
2. Standing on the mount of Arafah
3. Tawaafu Al-Ifaadah
4. Sa’i between Safaa and Marwa
And, according to the Shaafi’i madh’hab, the shaving of the hair.
Whosoever misses any of the Pillars that are agreed upon by whatsoever reasons must repeat his Hajj.
