QUESTION

” Pls what are the four conditions that makes hadith da`if”

ANSWER

Alhamdulillāh, once a hadith is not Sahih by not fulfilling the four conditions of Sahih, it becomes da’if ( weak).

Al-Haafidh Ibn Hajar Al-‘Asqalaani – rahimahullaah – said in Nukhbatu Al-Fikar:

ﻭﺧﺒﺮ ﺍﻵﺣﺎﺩ ﺑﻨﻘﻞ ﻋﺪﻝ ﺗﺎﻡ ﺍﻟﻀﺒﻂ ،
ﻣﺘﺼﻞ ﺍﻟﺴﻨﺪ ، ﻏﻴﺮ ﻣﻌﻠﻞ ﻭﻻ ﺷﺎﺫ ﻫﻮ ﺍﻟﺼﺤﻴﺢ ﻟﺬﺍﺗﻪ

“And non-oft related Ahaadith, if they are narrated by a trustworthy unaccused narrator, upon whose memory we can vouch, with an unbroken chain, and which is not crooked and contradictory, such a narration is referred to as ‘Sahihun lidhaatihi'”
