#467: The Impermissibility of Sex Toys

I have a question and I need honest answers based on Hadith and Sunnah, is vibrator allowed according to Islamic teachings? There are some married couples going thru sexual problems and the husband is thinking of getting one for his wife, so is it allowed?”

Wa alaykum Salām warahmatullāh wabarakātuh.
Alhamdulillāh.
The use of sex toys by Muslims whether individually or as a couple isn’t allowed in Islām due to the many things it causes and the many side effects that it has, Of note is that such toys make women lose regard for their husbands and vice versa.
Therefore, the solution is for the couple to try to understand each other better, to help each other achieve the emotional and sexual needs and to help each other attain sexual satisfaction.
As you have asked based on Qur’an and Sunnah, we would say that its ruling returns to the matter of masturbation and its various shades which we will insha Allāh answer later.
