#679: Ruling on Advertisement on Websites

My question is…What is the ruling on affiliating my *blog* or *website* with some *local* *news* *websites* in such a way that I earn some certain ads revenue from them?”

Wa Alaykum Salām Warahmatullāh Wabarakātuh

Alhamdulillāh.

We have responded to a similar question in Question 691 in our Channel where we maintained that it was permissible to make money out of advertising generally except if the Company for whom the advertisement is to be placed is engaged in Harām Transactions.

This same ruling applies to such News Agencies, and Allāh knows best.
