#69. ADVICE TO THE MUSLIMAH THAT REFRAINS FROM HER MARITAL HOME FOR PERSONAL INTERESTS
ANSWER
Wa alaykum salaam warahmatullaah wabarakaatuh
Beloved brother, may Allah be with you too, aameen.
As for such a Sister, we say to her: *fear Allah*
Indeed the Rasul – salallaahu alayhi wasallam – has obligated women to serve and be respecting to their husbands. This is of the things that the entirety of the Ummah have agreed upon.
It is entirely unacceptable for a woman to leave her husband’s house for whatever reasons that are based on her personal interests.
” أيما امرأة سألت زوجها الطلاق في غير ما بأس فحرام عليها رائحة الجنة ” رواه أبو داود والترمذي
“Any woman that asks her husband for divorce without any warranting reason, the fragrance of Jannah becomes haraam for her therewith.”
