#783: Ruling o a Woman giving Food to another Married Man without the consent of Her Husband
783 QUESTION
“Assalamu Alaikum. Rephrase. What is the ruling as regards to a married woman giving out food to another married man in another street whose wife traveled perhaps, without her husband aware of it during this month of Ramadan?”
ANSWER:
Wa Alaykum Salām Warahmatullāh Wabarakātuh.
Alhamdulillāh!
This is a matter that creates Fitnah in the Ummah and it is wrong. Were it to be a thing well intended and pure of doing, she would have informed her husband and not hide it from him. Were it to be something pure of doing and well intended, the married man would not have collected the food without been fearful of the Fitnah it may breed and informing the husband.
Let our Brothers and Sisters fear Allāh in whatever they do and close all the gaps through which Iblīs penetrates homes and relationships. We ask Allāh for Guidance and Tawfīq.
It appears though that the question was coined to get a specific answer from us. We would therefore recommend that such questions that have to do with situations must be sent with all the details that it entails that we may not be unjust in our response.
Bārakallāhu Fīkum
Jazakumullāhu Khayran.
