#793: Ruling on the Fast of the One who ejaculates Semen due to Sexual Imagination
793. QUESTION
“Assalamu alaikum may Allah reward u and accept our ibaadat.pls what is the ruling concerning one who see something like sperm coming out of his private part during day time in Ramadan because of his imagination towards sex pls I need urgent answer thanks”
ANSWER:
Wa Alaykum Salām Warahmatullāh Wabarakātuh.
Alhamdulillāh!
Such a person should be rebuked and warned against such deeds. Why should you be fantasizing sexual relations while you are observing the fast. Of the purposes of the fast is to distant from sexual relations and to ensure purity of mind and the submission of the spirit to Allāh – Ta’ālā. So, let this brother take heed and beware of that.
As for whether his fast terminates by so doing, then the position favoured by the majority is that it does not invalidated his fast except that the Mālikis differed on that for they held that ejaculation as a result of fantasizing terminates the fast.
