#886: Ruling on accusing One`s Husband of having Sexual Intercourse with his daughter
886. QUESTION:
“Question:
What is d sharia judgement for a woman who accused her husband of having sexual intercourse with their daughter wrongly?”
ANSWER:
Alhamdulillāh Rabbi Al-‘Ālamīn.
We seek Allāh’s refuge from that.
What seems apparent here is that there not only mistrust but some wrongs that the wife has seen in her husband for her to entertain such thoughts.
It should be known, and may Allāh have mercy upon us all, that the negative thoughts of people are a reflection of certain tendencies they have seen in others. A hungry dog will keep following a man that carries something that invites it, then no matter what he does to drive the dog, the dog will keep following, as was mentioned by Imām Abū Hāmid Al-Ghazzālī rahimahullāh.
What we should be treating here is why would a wife accuse her husband of having intercourse with his own daughter? Something must be deeply wrong and we ask Allāh for Guidance, amīn.
The Sharī’ah Judgement on this matter is for a competent ‘Ālim to examine their situation and advise accordingly.
Bārakallāhu Fīkum
Jazakumullāhu Khayran.
