#9. ON COUPLES BATHING GHUSL TOGETHER
” Sorry I HV a question ….is it good for couples to bath together, Jazakum lahi khairan
Also can they bath ghuslu together, Jazakum lahi khairan
Pls give a hadith or surah backing it”
ANSWER
Wa antum, jazaakumullaahu khayran.
Imaam Muslim – rahimahullaah – transmitted and recorded from Ibn Abbas – radiyallaahu anhuma – that he said:
“Maimunah told me that she used to observe the ghusl together with the Prophet – salallaahu alayhi wasallam – from the same container.”
Imaam An-Nawawi – rahimahullaah – said in his Shar’h of Sahih Muslim:
“As for the purification (of ghusl) of a man and his wife from the same container, then it is permissible by the Ijmaa’ (consensus) of the Muslims.”
