#910: Is Applying Dye On Hands By Women Considered Tattooing?

‘Assalamu alaykum Wa rahmatullah Wa barakatuh. Pls i have a question. Is dye design which women do on their hands and feet especially during festivities considered tattooing?’

Wa Alaykum Salām Warahmatullāh Wabarakātuh

There is nothing wrong in the use of dyes provided they are not a permanent change in the body and skin, and we mentioned the recommendation of dyeing the hands and feet with henna In our response to Question 69 on our Telegram Channel. You may refer to it.
