#75. TAKING MONEY FROM A FRIEND THAT WORKS IN A COMPANY THAT PRODUCES ALCOHOL
“Salamun aleikum waramatulah wabarakahtu, thumbs up on all the good works, may Allah reward y’all… I have a close pal who just got a job in an alcoholic company(he knows it’s bad anyways), can I still collect money from him cos it’s our tradition to hangout whenever either of us is boxed up. Wanna know if I can still deal with him financially like I used to… please, need an answer ASAP cos he is very close pal of mine and I see him like always… jazakumulahu khairan”_

What is expected of you in such a situation is to call him toward what is right by doing some Naseehah to him and encouraging him to abandon such kind of work. Probably that will help him correct his ways.
It is not expected of you in such a situation to take of such wealth. Rather, to draw his attention and to continue in that regard until Allah guides him by virtue of your persistent admonitions. May Allah guide us all aright, aameen.
