#76. THE RULING OF PLAITING HAIR FOR THE MUSLIMAH WHO INTENDS THE UD’HIYA IN THE FIRST NINE DAYS OF DHULHIJJAH
” Assalamualaykum warahmatullah, pls admin for a woman that will do layya, can she plait her hair within d 10 days since there is no cutting of nails and hair, but hair may fall off during plaiting.”

Alhamdulillaah! May Allah’s blessings be with you, aameen.
There is nothing that forbids a woman from plaiting her hair in such a situation even if there is a possibility of some strands of hairs falling off as long as the intention behind plaiting her hair was not to have some hairs removed.
We should note that hair falling is not hair removal or cutting.
