#1076: Advice To The One Who Dreams Of Intercourse And Pregnancy
Assalamu alaikum. Sometimes, I wake up only to find my pants off. Sometimes I even dream of having intercourse with a stranger I don’t know. Sometimes I dream that I’m pregnant or have delivered. When I wake up I never find the maniy. Please, does that requires ghusl? And does it also implies that I’ve been affected/disvirgined by the jinns? What do you advice me to do on it? Wa Alaykum Salam Warahmatullah Wabarakaatuh.
May Allah grant you Istiqaamah and Sadaad, and protect you from Iblis and his army, and envelope you with His Nur and Mercy, amin.
First, as for the requirement of Ghusl, then there is no Ghusl on you provided there is no ejaculation or the gushing forth of female prostatic fluid from your private organ. This is because the necessity of the Ghusl is not derived from dreams or fantasies but from ejaculation of these fluids.
As regards your disturbing dreams, then it is advised that you protect yourself from Shayaatin by frequently reciting Suratu Al-Baqarah, get closer to reciting the Qur’an more frequently, ensuring that you go to bed only after making Wudhu and ensuring you do your Adhkaar before you sleep and once you are woken up.
Seek further guidance from Ulamaa or Students of Knowledge in your immediate community or whom you have physical contact with. And may Allah make this trial easy for you, amin.
