“Asalamun Alaykum, my question is what is the Islamic rules in regards to high purchased. Pls I need more clarification.”

ANSWER:

Wa Alaykum Salām Warahmatullāh Wabarakātuh

Alhamdulillāh, as for Hire Purchase, we have explained in response to questions 464 and 507 that it is permissible on it’s own and that, depending on the terms of the contract to be signed by both parties, Permissibility and impermissibility would vary. This is because in many current day hire purchase contracts, other forms of impermisible transactions are signed alongside.

We would require that you quote the specifics of a contract and transaction that we may shed light accordingly, bārakallāhu Fīkum
