OBEDIENCE.
Know verily that, Ramadān is the month for increasing and competing for goodness.
And of the greatest obedience, is for one to obey one’s parents and to hasten to please them within the content of the Shari’a and not to be negligent regarding that.
But it is a sad fact to find those who only attached themselves to the recitation of the Qur’an during Ramadān, while disobeying their parents when they are called to attend to their needs.
Subhānallah! Have such people forgotten that disobedience to parent(s) is one of greatest sins?
Have they forgotten that their recitation is meant to soften their heart and cleanse it from its flaws?
Oh beloved ummah, hasten to increase your goodness in this blessed month especially to the parents and don’t lag behind.
