Imān do increases and decreases at times in the heart of a believer, its increase is due to increase in good acts while its decrease is due to sins, and there is nothing better amongst the good acts like the zikr of Allāh Ta’āla.
In this regard, The Messenger sallallāhu a’layhi wasallam was reported to have said:
_Shall I not tell you of the best of your deeds, the most pleasing to your lord, those that raise you most in status, that are better than your gold and silver, or meeting your enemy (in battle) and you strike their necks and they strike your necks?” They said: Yes” He said: “Remembering Allāh._
Know that the best way to increase Imān and renew it and to cleanse the heart from its vices is by remembrance of Allāh Ta’āla.
Allāh didn’t only commands the believers to remember Him. Rather, He commands them to remember Him frequently.
Thus, oh beloved Muslims, stick to the remembrance of Allāh Ta’āla always and be conscious of Him in all your activities and do not be heedless, may the blessings of Allāh Ta’āla be upon you, Amin.
