To preserve the rights of people and to look after their interests is one of the attributes of the Believer.
In the Hadith that was recorded by Imam Ahmad bn Hanbal from the Companion Fudaalah bn ‘Ubayd, radiyallahu anhu, the Rasul salallahu alayhi wasallam said on the day of Hajjatu Al-Wadaa:
“May I not tell you about the Believer? He is the one to whom people can entrust their wealth and their lives. The Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hands the people are free and safe. The Mujaahid is the one who fights his soul in the Obedience of Allah, and the Muhaajir is the one who migrates from vices and sins”
This Hadith has been narrated and recorded with different wordings and Variations by different Imams of Hadith in their Collections and it has been graded Sahih by Shaykh Muhammad Nasiruddin Al-Albani in As-Sahihah.
