So many Servants of Allah have gained the pleasure of Allah at the exit of trials and tribulations that befell them…
So many others have had their destructions and undoing exit trials and tribulations that befall them…
And for this reason they are known as trials and tribulations. With them, the limits of Patience are pushed and the tenacity of perseverance are put to test.
For this reason the Rasul salallahu alayhi wasallam referred to epidemics as trials for his Ummah with which He picks Shuhadaa and punishes the Kuffaar.
There is no epidemic that does not come with pain but the ability of a person to bear it in patience while believing in Allah and remain steadfast upon His Path in submission, is what distinguishes the Believer from the Kaafir and the Munaafiq.
What is required of me and you today: hold unto our ‘Aqidah and remain steadfast upon it. Abide by the precautions that Professionals have recommended. And when you have done this, if Allah chooses that you are afflicted with this disease, be patient with its pains and seek your recompense with Allah, for in the Destination of Allah is Wisdom beyond every knowledge…
