The protection of the lives, properties, honor and rights of people is a Goal among the Goals of the Shari’ah of Allah. This is a matter about which the Ummah are in agreement right from the Era in which the Rasul salallahu alayhi wasallam lived to this day.
For its reason, anything that jeopardizes this Goal must be avoided provided it does not compromise the Din.
Imam Abu Is’haaq Ash-Shaatibi expounded on this exhaustively in Al-Muwaafaqaat.
It follows invariably thus that whatever does not take Din away from you and would protect the lives of people in this Crisis must be done to as best as possible.
And from Allah all aid is sought.
