RECITATION OF QUR’AN.
Know _may the blessings of Allāh be upon you always_ that, Ramadān is considered as the month of the glorious Qur’an because it was revealed in it.
Oh beloved ones, stick to the recitation of the Holy Qur’an in this blessed month day and night and do not relax. Try all your best to finish it even though it is once before the month runs out.
Imām sufyān Ath-thawrī used to leave every Ibādāt apart from the compulsory ones during the time of Ramadān, and he will dedicate his time fully for the Qur’an.
For this reason, oh beloved ones, stick to your Qur’an during Ramadān and let the recitation be part of you so that even after the month you can continue on your _Wir’d._
Try to make yourself amongst the people of the Qur’an. Ponder on its Verses and practise its commandments. And also, try to find enjoyment in its recitation not in *music,* for Music destroys you and distances you from the Mercy of Allāh.
Isn’t it time for us to wake up from our slumber of being negligent of the Glorious Qur’an?
