The Last Ten Days
*The Last Ten Days.*
The Rasūl salallāhu’alayhi wasallam used work harder in the last ten days of Ramadān.
It is reported from ‘Aisha radiyallāhu anha who said:
_With the start of the last ten days of Ramadan, the Prophet sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam used to tighten his waist belt (i.e. work hard) and used to pray all the night, and used to keep his family awake for the prayers._
Al-Bukhārī #2024.
These days is not to be taken for granted. For the fact that, in them there is Laylatul-Qadr and this night is better than the ‘Ibādah of a thousand months.
Hence, grasp them with your molars and exhaust all your efforts towards its benefits. Afterall, the struggle is just for 10days not 10yrs.
