Hope my question is understood…
ANSWER:
Wa Alaykum Warahmatullah Wabarakatuh.
Praise be to Allah.
May Allah reward you for the good prayers to your parents. May He also bless you with progeny that will always remember you in their prayers.
Indeed, Allah the Almighty has instructed the believers to be kind and prayerful their parents. A section of the prayer in question is found in Suratul-Isrā’i, 23-24, when Allah said:
23. And your Lord has commanded that you shall not serve (any) but Him, and goodness to your parents. If either or both of them reach old age with you, say not to them (so much as) “Ugh” nor chide them, and speak to them a generous word. 24. And make yourself submissively gentle to them with compassion, and say: O my Lord! have compassion on them, as they brought me up (when I was) little.
The generalization of your prayer is
Rabbig-firlanā wa liwālidīnā, Rabbirhamhumā kamā rabbayānā sigārā
Lastly, I will advice my brothers and sisters to learn recitation of the Qur’an and other matters of the Deen like Prayers and Azkār from the original Arabic text, and NOT transliteration. If you can’t read the Arabic text, then you need someone to guide you.
May Allah guide us to His right path.
And Allah knows best.
Barakallahu Fikum.
Jazakumullahu Khayran.
