Q&A (Fatwa)

#147: The Ruling on Immunizations

*ANSWER*

Wa alaykum salām Warahmatullāh Wabarakātuh

Alhamdulillāh

There is nothing from the Sharī’ah to forbid the preventation of diseases by way of vaccinations. It conforms with more than one of the Fiqhi precepts in the Sharī’a.

However, what some of the Ulamā are weary of is the presence of some harmful and racial-cleansing substances that are feared to be injected into such vaccines coming from Western Countries. *If this is proven to be the case, then Muslims must distance from them.*

Allāhu A’alam
Bārakallāhu fīkum
Jazākumullāhu Khayran.
