ON SKIN TONING FOR WOMEN

“What is the Islamic verdict on skin toning for women?”

ANSWER:

Alhamdulillah! We have already established above that everything that permanently changes the nature of one’s creation is Haraam, and we quoted a Hadith that is Agreed upon by both Imaam Al-Bukhaari and Imaam Muslim on its authenticity.

Therefore, it is not permissible to bleach or to tone the skin for the fact that the toning and bleaching creams that are out there in the market either damage the skin or create irritations and diseases to the body in old age.
