#60. THE MUSLIMAH WHO TELLS ANOTHER SHE IS SINGLE DUE TO THE DISLIKE OF A KHATIB
” Please is it permissible to tell a brother that one is single despite the fact that there’s a brother already on ground but one is not satisfied with his deen”
ANSWER
Alhamdulillaah, what is obligatory upon such a sister is to make things clear to the one who she dislikes for the reason of his Din that she is not interested in marriage with him and making it clear rather than making it look like she is going to marry him.
What we mean here is that if you have solid reasons such as what has to do with Din not to accept a man’s proposal, it is better you make it clear to him and have it off your mind and his mind.
Thereafter, you shouldn’t tell someone else that you have no one as a khatib whereas you have. This is tantamount to lies and deceit that have been prohibited in our esteemed Din.
