Imaam Ibn Hajar Al-‘Asqalaani – rahimahullaah – said:
It is reported from Abu Hurairah radiyallaahu anhu- who said – The Messenger of Allah -salallaahu alayhi wasallam said:
“A believer who is strong is better and beloved to Allah than the weak believer, but there is goodness in both of them, then be eager on what will benefits you and seek help from Allah, and do not be weak. If anything happens to you do not say: “If I had done such and such thing, such and such would have happened.” But say, ‘Allah decrees what He wills and He does what He wants; for saying “If I had” provides a way for the deeds of the Shaitaan.”
