والصلاة والسلام على أفضل خلق الله
الحمد لله رب العالمين
وعلى آله وصحبه ومن والاه
Assalāmu Alaykum Warahmatullāh Wabarakātuh
May the blessings of Allāh be upon you this evening

Honored brothers and Sisters on the Platform
And we ask Allāh to make us of the manumitted servants this Ramadān. Āmīn
Alhamdulillāh

We shall inshā Allāh continue the class from where we stopped
Shaykh Uthmān Dan Fodio – rahimahullāh – said
وينحصر في مقدمة وسبعة فصول وخاتمة
_”And it contains An Introduction, Seven Sections and A Closing”_
الفصل الاول؛ في دعوة كل أحد من الناس إلى التقوى واتباع السنة والتزام الورع في خاصة نفسه

_”The First Section
On Calling Everyone to fear Allāh, to follow the Sunnah and to observe Scrupulousness in his own self”_
الفصل الثاني؛ في تحذير الناس من الإنكار على الناس إنكار الحرام، على الأمور التي اختلف العلماء في حكمها
On warning The People from making Inkār on people, an Inkār that is Harām. It is that done upon matters about whose Ruling the Ulamā have differed.”_

“Section Two

الفصل الثالث؛ في ذكر أمثلة ما وقع في هذا الزمان من الأمور التى اختلف العلماء في حكمها
On some matters upon whose rulings the Ulamā have differed that has occurred in this Era”_

“Section Three
الفصل الرابع؛ في ذكر أمثلة ما وقع في هذا الزمان من الامور التى انعقد الإجماع على وجوبها ليشكر أهل الزمان عليها
On some matters upon whose Rulings the Ulamā have consensed were Obligatory, and have occurred in this era. This is so that the People of the Era can show gratitude (to Allāh) for them”_

“Section Four
الفصل الخامس؛ في ذكر أمثلة ما وقع في هذا الزمان من الأمور التي انعقد الإجماع على تحريمها ليحترز أهل تلزمان منها
On some matters upon whose Rulings the Ulamā have consensed were forbidden and have occurred in this era. This is so as the People of the Era can avoid them”_

“Section Five

الفصل السادس؛ في ذكر الأصول التي تجب على جميع أمراء الاسلام
A mention on the Principles of matters that are obligatory upon the entirety of the Leaders of Islām”_

“Section Six
الفصل السابع؛ في ذكر أمور الإمام المهدي الذي هو آخر الخلفاء
A Mention of the affairs of the Imām, Al-Mahdī who will be the last of the Khulafā”_

“Section Seven

Naam, this is the methodology of authorship in the Muslim epistemology
It is to begin a book by a brief mention of what it contains so as to encourage the readers to pay more attention to the book and benefit better from it.

We shall, Allāh willing explain each of the matters set forth in these Seven sections and explain them both in context and out of the book’s context
