(Hadith’s on when to seek out laylatul qadr)
“عن عَائِشَة-َ رضي الله عنها- أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّه-ِ صلى الله عليه وسلم- قال تَحَرَّوْالَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ في الْوِتْرِ من الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ من رَمَضَان”َ
رواه البخاري.
On the authority of Aaisha- radiyaAllahu anha- who said that the messenger of Allah- sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam said; “Search for the Night of Qadr in the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan.”
Al-Bukhari.
LESSONS FROM THE HADITH
1. It is enjoined on every believer to search for laylatul Qadr (a night which is better than a thousand nights).
2. One should maximize the last ten nights of Ramadan (in Ibaadah) to seek out laylatul Qadr especially on the odd number nights.
3. Laylatul Qadr is one of the great bounties of Allah, the exalted on this Ummah and it worts having many sleepless night for.
May Allah count us among those to witness the night (while in ibaadah), Aameen.
