Imaam Ibn Qudaamah Al-Maqdisi -rahimahullaah-
Said:
The Adaab of the Qur’an and its virtues.
The most important virtue of the Qur’an is that it is the word of Allah,. Indeed, Allah Has praised His book in many verses, saying,
“And this is a book, which we have sent down…) Suratu Al-Anaam, verse 9.
In another verse, Allah says;
” verily, This Qur’an do guide to that which is most Right. ” Al-Israa, verse 9.
It is reported from uthman Ibn Affan Radiyallaahu anhu-. Who said- The Messenger sallallaahu alayhi wasallam said:
” The best among you is the one who learns the Qur’an and teaches it”.
Transmitted and Recorded by Imaam Bukhaari in his ‘Sahih’#5027.
Also, it is reported from Anas Radiyallaahu anhu who said. The Messenger sallallaahu alayhi wasallam said:
“Verily, Allah Has chosen some people to be his favorite servants. It was said:who are those people, Oh Messenger of Allah sallallaahu alayhi wasallam? He said(The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu alayhi wasallam): ” The people of the Qur’an are His chosen servants and His Favorite.”
Transmitted and recorded by Imaam At-Tirmidhi in Al-Kubra#8031. Shaykh Al-Albaani declared it as Sahih in Sahihu Al-Jaami’#2165.
In addition, it is reported from Ibn Amru Radiyallaahu anhumah- who said. – Messenger sallallaahu alayhi wasallam- said:
” On the Day of Resurrection, it will be said to the people of the Qur’an, Read the Qur’an and occupy your high degrees. Recite the Qur’an as you used to recite it in the world, for your position will be at the end of the last Qur’anic verse you read. ”
Transmitted and recorded by Imaam At-tirmidhi in ‘Sunan’#3081. Shaykh Al-Albaani declared it as Sahih in Sahihu Al-Jaami’#8122.
