_Imām Ibn Qudāmah Al-Maqdisi -rahimahullāh-_
Said:
*CONTENTMENT IN POOR STATE.*
Know verily that, it is recommended for the poor to stick to contentment, and for the rich person, to be generous and kind in spending, for generosity is an attribute of the prophets and it is of the root of all goodness.
And the prophet sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam was more generous than a beneficial breeze and it never happened that the Prophet sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam was asked for anything and he said no.
In this regard, Anas Ibnn Mālik reported that;
_A person requested the Messenger(ﷺ) to give him a very large flock and he gave that to him. He came to his tribe and said: O people, embrace Islam. By Allah, Muhammad donates so much as if he did not fear want._

In addition, it was said that ‘Uthmān once has fifty thousand Dirham with Talhah, and one day, when ‘Uthmān went to the Masjid, Talhah said to him: Mālik has gotten so so dirham for you, here they are, take it, ‘Uthmān then said to him: It is for you O Abā Muhammad.
It was also reported that a Bedouin Arab visited Talha and asked him for a request due to his relationship with Talhah.
Talha said to him:
Verily, nobody has ever asked me for something due to relationship before you, he then gave the Bedouin three hundred thousand dirham.
