Imām Ibn Qudāmah Al-Maqdisi-rahimahullāh-
Said:
Perseverance.
Whenever you lags behind as to virtuous acts, then you are recommended to overload yourselves with more virtuous deeds.
In this regard, it was said that Ibn ‘Umar Radiyallāhu anhu missed the congregational prayer, so he spent the whole night praying.
If your soul couldn’t bear the struggle, then you should persevere, seek assistance in the way of life of the righteous ones and their Ibādat.
Also, you should keep yourselves in their company and follow their footsteps.
Allāhu A’alām.
Bārakallāhu fīkum.
Jazākumullahu Khayran.
