Said:
“*At-tafakkur.**
Indeed, Allāh Ta’āla Has commanded contemplation and pondering over the verses of glorious Qur’an, and He has also praised those who contemplate.
Allāh Ta’āla says:
….and reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth: Our Lord! You have not created this in vain! Glory be to You; save us then from the chastisement of the fire.
Sūratu Ali-I’mrān, Verse 191.
And He says:
…most surely there are signs in this for a people who reflect.
Sūratu Ar-ra’d, Verse 3.
Wahb Bn Munabbih said:
Long reflection leads to understanding, understanding results in knowledge, and knowledge yields action.
Bishr Al-Hāfī said:
If people ponder over the glory of Allāh Ta’āla, they will never disobey Him.
Al-Firyābī said regarding the verse:
I will turn away from My ayāt those who are unjustly proud in the earth;..
Sūratu Al-Aa’rāf, Verse 146.
Meaning: Allāh will prevent their heart from reflecting over His signs.
Yūsuf ibn Asbāt said:
This dunya is not created to just look at its good appearance. Rather, to get the Hereafter through it.
Allāhu A’alām.
Bārakallāhu fīkum.
Jazākumullahu Khayran.
