Love for the Rasūl -salallāhu alayhi wasallam

📬 DAILY POST#708

Imām Ibn Qudāmah Al-Maqdisi-rahimahullāh-
Said:

Love for the Rasūl Salallāhu alayhi wasallam.

Oh beloved ones, establish the love for the Rasūl Salallāhu alayhi wasallam in your heart and hasten to uplift His Sunnah, so that He may intercede on your behalf in the Hereafter, for His intercession is given priority over all the prophets, and he is going to ask for forgiveness for the sinful ones amongst his Ummah.

You should also befriend pious ones, for a believer may intercede for others. You should never be deceived by pride thus postponing your repentance while considering it as hope. For whoever hopes for something, works towards it. You should beware of oppressing others. Whoever oppresses others and dies before returning their right, his virtues would be credited to the account of one who suffered at his hand.

It is reported from Abī Sa’īd Al-Khudrī who said: the Rasūl Salallāhu alayhi wasallam said:

When the believers pass safely over( the bridge across) Hell, they will be stopped at a bridge in between Hell and Paradise where they will retaliate upon each other for the injustice done amongst them in the world, and when they get purified of all their sins, they will be admitted into paradise. By Him in Whose Hands the life of Muhammad is everybody will recognise his dwelling in Paradise better than he recognises his dwelling in this world.

It is reported from Abū Hurairah Radiyallāhu anhu who said: the Rasūl Salallāhu alayhi wasallam said:

Do you know who is poor? They ( the companions of the Holy Prophet) said: A poor man amongst us is one who has neither Dirham with him nor wealth. He( the Rasūl Salallāhu alayhi wasallam) said: The poor of my Ummah would be he who would come on the Day of Resurrection with Prayers and Fasting and Zakah but ( he would find himself bankrupt on that day as he would have exhausted his funds of virtues since) he hurled abuses upon others, brought calumny against others and unlawfully consumed the wealth of others and shed the blood of others and beat others, and his virtues would be credited to the account of one ( who suffered at his hand). And if his good deeds fall short to clear the account, then his sins would be entered in his account) and he would be thrown in the Hell Fire.

It is reported from Abū Hurairah Radiyallāhu anhu who said: the Rasūl Salallāhu alayhi wasallam said:

The claimants would get their claims on the Day of Resurrection so much so that the hornless sheep would get its claim from the horned sheep.

All these Ahādīth are found in the Sahīhayn, thus, beware of showoff and backbiting and never waste your time for the least. For the Miskīn is the one who prefers the temporary amusement over the everlasting one, may Allāh save us from this, Āmīn.

Allāhu A’alām.
Bārakallāhu fīkum.
Jazākumullahu Khayran.
