Imām Ibn Qudāmah Al-Maqdisi-rahimahullāh-
Said:
It is reported from Anas Ibn Mālik Radiyallāhu anhu who said: the Rasūl Salallāhu alayhi wasallam said:
He who professed “Lā Ilāha ILLallāh, would be brought out of the Fire even though he has in his heart virtue equal to the weight of a barley grain. Then he who professed Lā Ilāha ILLallāh would come out of the Fire, even though he has in his heart virtue equal to the weight of a wheat grain. He(Allāh) would then bring out from the Fire he who professed Lā Ilāha ILLallāh even though he has in his heart virtue equal to the weight of an atom.
Transmitted by Imām Al-Bukhārī#44 and Imām Muslim#93.
It was reported that Al-Fudayl Ibn ‘Iyād looked at the Tasbīh of the pilgrims on the Day of ‘Arafah and their weeping, he then said:
If these people were asking a person a very little sum of money, would he abandon them? They said: No. He then said: wallāhi, Allāh’s forgiveness is easily obtainable than this trivial money.
All these Ahādīth that we mentioned is a form of glad tidings regarding the Rahmah of Allāh Ta’āla. And we beseech Allāh Ta’āla not to treat us according to our bad deeds. Rather, we pray He should cover us with His blessings. We seek His forgiveness ‘Azzawajal regarding our statements which contradict our deeds. We seek refuge in Him from the evil of our soul and from the evil of Shaitān and his helpers, verily, He is Nigh and Answering.
With this, we came to the end of the book Mukhtasar Minhaj Al-Qasidīn by Imām Ibn Qudāmah Al-Maqdisī Rahimahullāhu
