Imām Abū ‘Abdullah Muhammad bn Abī Bakr bn Ayyub Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah
said:
WHAT SŪRATU QĀF ENTAILS OF THE PRINCIPLES OF IMĀN.
Know verily that, sūratu QAF entails principles of Imān that are well eleborated and sufficient for the intelligent ones, and it doesn’t need the speech nor the opinions of the Ahlul kālām. And it also contains matters about the beginning of creation, Resurrection, Tawhīd, prophethood, and belief in Angels, and the categorization of people into losers and successful ones on the Day of Resurrection.
It also talks about the attributes of Allāh Ta’āla and purifies and glorifies Allāh from all defects and faults which contradict His attributes.
Allāh mentioned two Resurrections: the smaller and the bigger Resurrections and the two worlds: the bigger which is the Hereafter and the smaller which is the dunya, and He made mentioned the creation of mankind, His death, His Resurrection, His condition during his death, and on the Day of Resurrection, and He knows what the mind of a servant suggests to him and places keepers over them to serve as honorable recorders, and they record all what he says and he shall account for them on the day of Resurrection.
When the angel drives him along he will say to Him: Here is the record with me. Then it will be said when he is brought forth:
أَلْقِيَا فِي جَهَنَّمَ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ
Do cast into hell every ungrateful, rebellious one
Hence, beloved ones, ponder over the verses so that your Imān may increase.
Allāhu A’alām.
Bārakallāhu fīkum.
Jazākumullahu Khayran.
