Imām Abū ‘Abdullah Muhammad bn Abī Bakr bn Ayyub Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah
said:
In the Sūratu Qāf, Allāh the Exalted, clearly says that He shall return the same body that had obeyed or disobeyed Him in this dunya in order to reward or punish it just like the way He rewards the Soul itself which believes in Him and punishes the one which disbelieves in Him, and not that Allāh the Exalted will create another Soul apart from the former soul so that He may reward or punish it as some ignorant people claim. They also claim that He will create another body other the former one.
This understand contradicts the understanding of the Quran and the Sunnah of the Rasūl salallāhu alayhi wassalam. This is in fact, the denial of Resurrection and the belief of those kuffār who denial the Resurrection. They cannot imagine how Allāh, the Exalted will recreate the body which has become bones and dust due to their ignorant and kufr.
In this regard, they say:
_أَإِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَامًا أَإِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ_
_What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then certainly be raised_
This is the ignorance of the Kuffār regarding the perfect power and knowledge of Allāh, the Exalted.
