People are Preferred over Others by Virtues of Deeds

٨ – ✒قال شیخ الإسلام ابن تیمیة رحمه الله:
إنّما یُفضَّل الإنسان بإیمانه وتقواه لا بآبائه، ولو کانوا من بني هاشم بیت النَّبيﷺ، فإنَّ الله خلق الجنَّة لمن أطاعه ولو کان حبشِیًّا، وخلق النّار لمن عصاه ولو کان شریفًا قرشیًّا٠

Shaykhu Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said:
_”Indeed people are preferred over others by virtue of their deeds not by virtue of their fathers even if they are from Banu Hashim and the home of the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam. This is because Allah Taala created Jannah for the one that obeys Him even if he were a black abysinian and He created Naar for the one who disobeys Him even if he were a Noble Qurayshi”_
