Imām Ibn Qudāmah Al-Maqdisi-rahimahullāh-
Said:
Ad-du’ā Doesn’t contradict Pleasure.
Know verily that, supplication doesn’t contradict pleasure, likewise, disliking sins, and its doer, Asbāb and working towards getting rid of the sins doesn’t contradict pleasure.
As for supplication, then we are worshiping Allah Ta’āla with it, and Allāh Ta’āla Has praised some of His servants where He says:
(ويدعوننا رغبا رهبا)
And they used to call upon Us Hoping and fearing…
Sūratu Al-Anbiyā, Verse 90.
And the supplications of the Rasūl Salallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam, the prophets and the pious ones are something that are well known in this regard.
As for the inkār of disobedience and lack of being pleased with it, we are worshiping Allāh also by so doing. Reason being that, Allāh Has blamed those who are pleased with disobedience.
Likewise, one is recommended to hate the kuffār and the sinful ones and to make inkār against them.
Allāhu A’alām.
Bārakallāhu fīkum.
Jazākumullahu Khayran.
29th Rabī’ul Thānī, 1441H.
