Benefitting from the Glorious Qur’an.
Know verily, may the blessings of Allāh Ta’āla be upon You that, whenever you want to benefit from the Holy Quran, then you should devote your heart towards its recitation and ponder over it meanings. And listen attentively, for it is the word of Allāh directed to you through His beloved Rasūl salallāhu alayhi wassalam
Allāh says:
إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَذِكْرَىٰ لِمَن كَانَ لَهُ قَلْبٌ أَوْ أَلْقَى السَّمْعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ
Verily, there is a reminder in this for him who has a heart or he gives ear and is a witness.
Hence, the effect of the Quran depends on the state of its receiver and the condition for the effect to take place, and the absence of obstacles.
The above verse explains all in the best format.
Thus, Oh beloved ones, for you to benefit from the Glorious Qur’an, you need to have a living heart( i.e the receiver) which comprehends what Allāh says. Listen attentively to what is being said and know that it is directed to you, reflect over it in order to be affected by the admonition, and your heart should be conscious and not distracted by other matters.
Through this means, you shall see the effect of the Quran over your heart and your way of life general
Therefore, practise this means, you shall prosper and be amongst the Ulul Al-Bāl.
Allāhu A’alām.
Bārakallāhu fīkum.
Jazākumullahu Khayran.
