said:
Then Allāh Ta’āla told us that man is in state of heedlessness regarding the matter of Resurrection while in reality, he shouldn’t be.
Then Allāh informed us that the screen of the heedlessness shall be unveiled on the Day of Resurrection the way the screen of sleep is uncovered from the heart, then he becomes fully conscious and the eyes opens.
Then Allāh informed us that the companion of a man, who is constantly with him in the Dunya amongst the Angels, writes down his deeds, words, and says to Allāh Ta’āla:
This is who you entrusted me with, I have brought him to You. And this is the statement of Mujāhid.
While Ibn qutaibah Rahimahullāhu said:
_The meaning is that this is what I have written, recorded from his words and deeds._
That said. The verse contains both meanings. Meaning, this is the person I have been entrusted with, these are his deeds which I have recorded. Then Allāh says:
_أَلْقِيَا فِي جَهَنَّمَ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ._
_Cast into hell every ungrateful, rebellious one._
And this order may be referring to the two angels who are with every soul or to the angel who is in charge of punishing him.
Allāhu A’alām.
Bārakallāhu fīkum.
Jazākumullahu Khayran.
