Imām Abū ‘Abdullah Muhammad bn Abī Bakr bn Ayyub Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah
said:
If what they had claim is true, that it’s another body other than the one in this Dunya that would be rewarded or punished, and the former will not be raised, then the following verse would be meaningless. May Allāh forbid that. Allāh, the Exalted say:
_قَدْ عَلِمْنَا مَا تَنقُصُ الْأَرْضُ مِنْهُمْ وَعِندَنَا كِتَابٌ حَفِيظٌ_
_We know indeed what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a writing that preserves._
Allāh, the Exalted, answered the question by saying that: He will certainly separate these pieces which had mixed with the earth and turned into dust in a way that it may be difficult to be separated. So Allāh, the Exalted says that He knows what the earth diminishes of their flesh, bones, and hair.
And just as He knows these pieces or elements, He is capable of separating and gathering them after it being separated, and creating them once again. And the perfect knowledge regarding the Resurrection is only known to Allāh.
Hence, this is not a joke. For the way you Wake up from your sleep, likewise, you shall be raised to account for your deeds. Thus, never be mesmerized by this transitory life. Rather, tight up your belt and hasten to Jannah, The extensiveness of which is as the heavens and the earth.
