Imām Abū Hamīd
Al-Ghazali – Rahimahullāhu
said:
The Goal of Ibādah.
Oh beloved Son, know that the fruits of knowledge is for you to know the essence of obedience and Ibādah which is the sticking to the Ahkām of the shar’i in terms of statements and actions.
In orderwords, everything you want to say or do should be in accordance to the ruling of the Shar’i.
For instance, it is not allowed for you to fast on the day of Al-‘īd and the days of At-tashrīq( 3days after the ‘īd of Al-Ad’ha). Likewise, to pray in a stolen cloth is a sin.
Therefore, hold tight the Ahkām with your premolars and never dwindle.
Allāhu A’alām.
Bārakallāhu fīkum.
Jazākumullahu Khayran.
